GST Signal

Ownership and commercial disclosure

The short version: this site is run by people who sell a product in the market it covers. Here is exactly what that means for what you read.

Who owns this site

GST Signal is owned and operated by FinScreener Data Solutions, the team behind finscreener.in, a commercial product that sells access to Indian business registration data. There is no separation of ownership, funding or staff between the two.

How that shapes coverage

  • FinScreener is never the only option named. Where an article discusses buying business data, it names the products a reader would realistically compare — including ones we compete with directly.
  • No article exists solely to link to FinScreener. Every guide here has to answer its question completely for a reader who never clicks through.
  • Links to FinScreener are nofollowed. So are links to every other commercial product. Links to government portals, regulations and official statistics are not — citing a primary source is the point.
  • No paid placements. No vendor has paid for a mention, a ranking or a review on this site. If that ever changes, it will be labelled on the page it affects, not disclosed here retroactively.

What we get out of it

Some readers will find FinScreener useful and try it. That is the commercial rationale for funding this site, and we would rather state it plainly than pretend the site is a neutral public service. The trade we are making is that a guide which is honest about what registration data cannot do is worth more, over years, than one which oversells it for a quarter.

How to hold us to it

If an article reads like an advertisement, or omits an obvious competitor, or makes a claim about FinScreener that is not substantiated on the page, tell us: editor@gstsignal.tech. See also the editorial policy and the about page.
